MY SMITHSONIAN RESEARCH

The elephants in Asia are very much so endangered. They are also in the wild. Over 30,000Asian elephants live in Southeast Asia. The elephants are endangered in the north portion as well. In 2001 a baby elephant was born. The zoo named her Kandula. She was the result of artificial insemination. The experience was obviously a success. In 2008 around March, April, and May. The zoo began the contruction to create an elephant trail. They wanted to make a new home for the elephants. The first step will be complete within the year of 2008. At this rate there will be a year for each phase. The building will even have an excerise track so that the elephants have a place to excersize.

2000

In 2000 I was in the second grade. I could not stand Ms. Halliburton she drove me crazy. She called my mother everyday and complained all the time about little things that I did that weren’t even that bad. But she just wanted something to say. She wanted a reason to call my grandfather. I think she kind of liked him but that’s beside the point. She would call them everyday on schedule for the past couple of months I was in her class. Learning in her class was easy but difficult at the same time. It is hard when you have a teacher that was always down your throat.

2001

In 2001 I was in the third grade. This was around the time my home room class was Ms. Halliburton. Ms. Halliburton was the meanest teacher ever but we got along fine then. She brought me lunch and gave me everything I needed. I felt safe around her and she makes it as though she was an extended grandmother. She was about 80 years old and still teaching the youth. I was hurt when she passed away because I had become attached to her and the love she has for me in her heart. I wish I was old enough to go to her funeral.

2003

In 2003 I was in the 4th grade. Ms. Johnsons class I was scarred for life. I went to school late and when I did we had a journal writing. When I did the journal writing I was writing too long and during that time the teacher called students up to read and I was listening but I was still writing my journal. When I stood to read the teacher began talking loud and told all the students to read and play and ball up paper and write and ignore everything I was saying. It was a traumatizing situation for me.

2004

IN 2004 I was in the 5th grade. I was in Ms. Cages class. She was the coolest teacher ever. She made class fun and she gave us many activities every day. My best friend name was Laquanda and she was a cool girl. She was a girl that didn’t care about what other people thought and that’s what I liked the most. The incredible was a movie that I admired the most this year because it was about super heroes and it was related to reality and it was very very animated. The sound effects were cool and stern. AWESOME.

2005

In 2005 I was in the sixth grade. This is when the Tsunami had taken place. All I can really remember were people giving donations. The Tsunami was a heartbreaking experience for everyone because of the fact that it was the beginning of destruction. After that took place many other things began to happen. The government just began to crumble and become nothing but a place filled with war and an idiot as president. So many people were killed and so many people in America gave because it was a heartfelt movement. Everyone cared and it showed with the donations.

2006

In 2006 I was in the seventh grade. The thing that I remember most is when I went to Disney world. Disney world is the coolest place in the world I enjoyed my time there because of the fact that everything was pretty much laid out and relaxed. There was very little walking I got to sleep in late and go swimming and play cards and so much more. The pool was the best part of the whole trip. After a long day of riding rides we got a chance to get in the pool and swim and splash.

2007

In 2007 I was at the Dudley building with all of the little middle school children at Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering. The school divided us in to home rooms based on the smart people and the not so… well you get the picture. Mr. Smith and Mr. Fayne were the two home rooms that everyone wanted to be in and I was chosen to be in Mr. Smith’s home room. His class was the first class on the entire hall. Ill never forget. Mr. Smith was a strict teacher but he prepared me for the high school.

2008

In 2008 Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering wanted to try something new for the school year. Our new adventure and experience we were in a gym in the morning time exercise. We had many workout corners such as yoga and jump rope and dodge ball. I didn’t like that part of the day because I don’t like getting hot and musty then I would have to get in the shower and change clothes so that the stinch wouldn’t be so bad. I was in the 9th grade and it sucked hot eggs and bacon grits. Oh how I hated it.

2009

In 2009 I was in Ms. Crawfords home room. She was sweet. She always had pink and green all over her door and in her room because she is an AkA. She is a morning person so she is extremely cheerful. She never had and attitude even when people made her mad through out the morning. Russian Roulette is my favorite song. It is sang by Rihanna , a carribean singer, in the U.S. I enjoyed my entire time spent in the 10th because it was worth the time dedicated. The summer was a blast though the year wasn’t.

2010

In 2010 my home room teacher was Ms. Frazier. She is a cool teacher to have. She motivates her students every morning and always has a smile on her face. She is the high light of the morning. I am in the 11th grade. My best friend is Tiara Allen and Destiny Young is like a sister to me. My absolute favorite song of the year is Usher OMG. The song and the video is so much fun. I cant really remember a fad but I do remember a food fight that took place and I had to tell what happened. And another song i just adore is Orianthi- according to you.

I am sick of all the women of America being seen as maids. If women ruled America this would be a better America. We as women will use this broom to sweep up the dirty war these men left and we will mop the antipeace thoughts out of peoples heads. This is not the America I once sae before. As the flag behind me slowly fades I want you to realize what America has become. We are the backbone of this country. We have been sitting long enough. Now its time to stand.

The detective has never liked the philosophy of having a robot monitor and help out in New York. Yes, New York was cluttered but robots will not make it any better. The detective in a way felt that if you have police why do you need robots. One day the brains behind the operation was murdered and the detective that didn’t like the whole thing in the beginning is called to work the case. The detective felt as though he knew all along what was going to happen. The doctor that was murdered gave one robot all of the knowledge that he had the detective had to try and find out the secret between the malfunction in the robots. The robot ran and it made matters worse because the robot felt as though he was a person.. he even gave himself a name and it was Sonny. The hard drive of all the robots had taken control of all the innocent robots and turned them into something that they weren’t designed to do and that was be un kind to the humans of the world. The detective with out a doubt had his work cut out for himself.

CHRIS GARNER

Chris Garner sat in a seat ready and determined to sell his goals and techniques to a group of strangers. “These men stare at him as if less than a man sat in front of them for an interview.” ,Thought Chris. Chris knows that he has to sell himself even harder because he was not even dressed appropriately. The thing that made it even tougher was the fact that he had just come from jail because of parking tickets. He started on a good foot. Chris garner was honest with everyone in the room. He was not a slacker and he was very dedicated and determined. As he spoke with intelligence , he sold the interview. The confidence he had made such perfect sense. Chris was smart enough to know that even though he was not the smartest person he has no problem saying he does not know something. And he works at trying to find the solution and answer to the problem. He liked the job until he was told that he would not be getting paid. Chris Garner has a family and he has to support his son no matter how bad he wants the job as basically an intern.

SITUATION

Tina Turner is laying in her coffin feeling down and out because she had no friends or family in her life. All of Tinas family left her as an outcast because she wanted true love and she married a mortal. All of her family died when her now ex husband went on a killing spree using her family as the targets. Oh that tragic and sad divorce court date in May.

               To make herself feel better she kept telling herself that she didn’t need anyone in this worl to love her or care about her, but oh she was wrong and now she is starting to notice how wrong she was in what she did. Tina went out to find two of the modst attractive woman in the world to be her children. It took her about 80years but she finally found what she was looking for.

                     Their names were Marian Anderson and Nicki Minaj. She saw both of them at concerts and hypnotized them. After the show they went directly to her cave for the converting ritual. When they arrived Tina bit into their neck and she had to try to refrain from drinking too much blood because she did not want to kill them. 

                                 Tina could tell the bit hurt them a little because of the way their eyes rolled from the frequent jerks of their bodies. Some what like when Wolf man in X man became Wolf man. They then as a team moved on to rule over the world together as sisters and nothing more nothing less. They loved each other and admired each other. As one they stood united.

A and P... QUEENIE EDITION

I walked in the store looking for my moms party food for her guest. I don’t know why my friends were being such scared chicks. I don’t even know why I chose them as my friends. Everywhere we go they don’t want to go inside, but they have to go inside because their twelve year old bodies make me look one hundred percent better.

         All of the attention will be mostly on me and my bod. So, anyway, we walk in and im trying to show them how to walk like me and be like me but they don’t want to try it. We look good is what I keep telling myself as we walk through the building. Sara, who hovers like a helicopter because she is so tall, makes me so mad. She always looks slow.
              And Jessica is always staring at cookies. She stopped to drool over the cookie aisle but I refused to stop because I didn’t want to look fat. I already felt as if I was gaining weight. I weigh 120 and I am only 5’1. When I finally found the food for my moms gathering I began to walk up to the check out line the line on the right was too long so I went to line to the right. 


        As soon as my items started to get rung up the cashier a old creepy man criticized the way that I dress. I left as soon as I had what I needed and when I walked out I we got back into our powder blue falcon station wagon and waited for my mom to stop yelling and my sister.

CHECKOUT ENDING

All of a sudden the young lady passed out but the bag boy caught her in his arms before she hit the floor. He then slipped on the mayonnaise and as he hit the floor she fell on top of him. The sudden movement brought her back to her senses and she was highly upset at what she saw. Surprisingly she didn’t even remember the faint that had taken place seconds before. She thought he was different from all the guys back home but now she sees the bag boy he really is. Covered in mayonnaise she didn’t get anything from the store. She rushed out and headed to her car. She was in a rage and she went from her innocent side to her dark side in a matter of moments. She wanted to cast a spell on him but she didn’t want the Salem witch trial to start over again. This was a new beginning for her and her family and she didn’t want to go through that suffering and being an outcast anymore.


When she got home she got into the shower and began thinking about why she promised her father she wouldn’t use spells. She felt as though it wasn’t her fault Aunt Susie got hung. She kicked the thought out of her head and stepped out of the shower. She got dressed and began combing her hair. The bag boy at the grocery store was finishing his shift and getting ready to start his second job. He couldn’t stop thinking about how crazy the strange girl behaved at the store. When he helped an elderly lady to the car he then walked to his car and changed from his grocery shirt to his second job shirt.

The girl had gotten hungry and ordered some pizza for delivery at her house. She then put a record player of Antonio Perti, an ancient opera singer, on and began singing along. When, all of a sudden, she smelled the scent of a vampire. The feeling sent a chill down her spine she began to gasp for air as she started scaling the walls and crawling the floor looking for the place where the scent was the strongest. She mumbled ”Moddani” and all the lights in the house went out. The doorbell rang so she swung the door open with a mere glance of her eyes.

When she saw it was the bag boy she then passed out and the bag boy now pizza man helped her onto the couch. He got a good look at her face and remembered her from the grocery store. He started to run but he then tripped on her foot. Her head raised viciously and she hissed “back for more I see” she then began spinning and floating around the room along with furniture in the room. Then when she tried to hit him with a lamp he was so fast that he was walking on air. He grabbed her by her head and he heard a snap. The furniture fell to the ground and so did they both.

She was dead and the only way for him to save her would be to break his promise to his dad and turn her into a vampire. He couldn’t resist how beautiful she was so he did so. He grabbed her by her waist and arched her back. He planted a kiss on her chest right before biting her. Her body began to jerk and her eye lids flew open and her iris was red as blood. She said “forever I am yours. Who am I master?” he replied “ Your name is Acausha princess of the vampire kingdom.” She bowed and they both walked out wearing gothic clothing.

They were hungry so Acausha went to the house next door and brought the family, of three children and a couple, to her house where her master was waiting. They then locked the door and began feasting on their blood within their flesh and showing no mercy to no man woman or child. They continued this routine until the house was full of three hundred bodies. The vampire couple fled the scene and checked into a hotel.

After about two days the stench coming from the house made people suspicious so the police received a call and went to the house. The news reported it as a mass homicide from what appears to be vampires. The vampire couple was watching the news sitting on the couch of the hotel laughing at the chaos they created in the town. They then grew bored of that city so they began thinking of other places they could go for more excitement. They opened a map and closed their eyes and both of their fingers landed on Memphis Tennessee. They walked down the stairs to the customer assistance counter and they replied at the same time.” Checkout please.”

AM I LYING?

1ST


I was walking home from school when I saw an old friend named Jamie. We went to the movie theatre and had a blast. I will never forget Feb.2nd that was the first day my mom allowed me to have another person in my car for the first time. After the movie we went to dinner, which I enjoyed the most. She had the ribs with fries and I got the salmon with fried green beans.

Eventually, my mom called to make sure everything was alright and I told her it was. She seemed as though she missed me being at home and I understand because I am her favorite child out of four. Jamie and I shared secrets until the end of the night. I plan on our friendship lasting for many many more years.

I then dropped her off at home and she did not want to go. She wanted to spend the night at my house but I knew my mothers answer would be no so I just told her I would see her tomorrow and she could text me tonight and we will plan everything that we will do to make it the best day ever.









2ND

The person that inspires me the most in my life is my grandfather. He means the world plus more to me. My grandfather makes life the most enjoyable for me. My grandfather spoils me every day. I don’t have to want or need for anything. He is far away but he still fills my world with joy. We go shopping together and so much more.

If im at the mall and there is a dress that I like all I have to do is take a picture of it and send it to him. When I send the picture and tell him how much it is he will transfer me the money into my credit card account.

My grandfather and I spend time together even though he is not here with me physically. He taught me everything I know about working on cars to mowing the lawn. He molded me to become a young independent woman and that’s exactly what I am today. Because of him I recognize that how I behave represents my family, so I behave like a young woman and not a wild animal. I mainly think before I speak and speak with confidence.







3RD

This morning I was so upset with my little sister. She had me late for school and she knows that I love to be on time. If I am not on time I feel that there is no reason to come. My sister woke up late and she had to take a shower. I couldn’t believe what was happening. When we finally got into the car she told me she wanted to stop at the gas station to get something for her to snack on at school.

I started yelling at her because we had snacks at home and she just had to stop and buy something. I turned the music up as loud as it could go because I didn’t even want to hear her breath and I really didn’t want her to even think about saying something else to me.

I waited until we got close to Dudley then I stopped at a gas station and let her go inside. When she came back to the car the only thing she had were sweets and that made me highly upset. I thought she was getting a snack and not something that would make her hype. I then began to speed the rest of the way to school.

JOURNAL: The thing that scares me the most is...

The thing that scares me the most is snakes. I dislike snakes with a passion. A guy friend that I am talking to has and loves snakes. I like him, but i can never go over his house because of my fear of snakes. Snakes are the most disgusting creatures I have ever seen. They make my flesh crawl and my stomache ache. It drives me crazy to see a snake on its belly slithering home or trying to fetch something to eat. I dont know why snakes were created anyway. Snakes are nothing, but poison to the atmosphere.

BREAKFAST turns SLOWFAST

One morning, my sister and I woke up to get ready for school like any other day. We planned to go to breakfast, but my sister had us late. This was nothing new at all.  I was use to it. School starts at 8:00 I stay in barrytown. So it takes about 35 minutes to get to my school.
        Eventually, my sister walked out of the house and we could be on our way. On the long drive I had the music loud as ever and I refused to talk to her because I was so upset. When we made it to the H-town area. I told my sister to get some money out so we could go to Ms.Winners. When she couldn't find it we pulled over at a gas station to look for it. I began throwing things around in my car until I finally found it. I was super excited until I got to the Ms.Winners line and it was too long.
   So, I drove down the street until we found a fast food breakfast that would have us out in no time flat. The only place I saw was Burger King. so I went through the drive through and when I got the food I threw it in my sister lap and speed away to school. We ate in the parking lot, by this time it was 9:00.
